Why Choose Peter Carey?

People have been heard to say… there is something warm and friendly about Peter’s voice as well as his engaging personality.

At a recent event another comment was, ‘even though we were at the furthest stables in the complex, we could still hear and understand every word Peter said over the PA’.

Peter can modify his speaking style to suit a wide range of events or activities.

From hosting, small gatherings such as focus groups with just a few people to announcing at large events (indoors or outdoors) where you require someone with a commanding but jovial quality, Peter is more than qualified.

Peter has been Compere, Master of Ceremonies or the Announcer to a wide cross-section of events. These have included hosting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea events and Relay for Life for Cancer Council Queensland, announcing at the Australian Quarter Horse Association’s National Championships at the AELEC Tamworth, compering National, State and District Conferences, regional council events such as Street Parties and Christmas Pageants, PCYCs Bunburra on the beach at Surfers Paradise, or Deadly 3 basketball in Cairns.

Over the years, Peter has also commentated for both radio and television on several sports; basketball, rugby league, motor-cross, boxing, beach volleyball and touch football, acted as spokesperson for sporting groups and also the ground, stadium or court announcer for a number of high visibility sports.

Peter’s announcing style has been honed from twenty years in commercial radio as well as more recently hosting programs on community radio.

...... and don't forget that VOICE!
